GOP Governors Finally Mandate Masks After Mass Carnage Hits Their States

For months, GOP governors politicized common sense health measures to prevent covid from spreading into their states. Now, citizens are dying in large numbers and are overwhelming their hospital systems. Mask wearing, closings and fines are finally being instituted by them.

How many Americans needlessly died because these governors preferred to NOT do the right thing from the beginning?

reply

I wonder if that means more kidnapping attempts.

Texas is still free from slavery.

reply

Stupid is as stupid does. How many more freezer trucks were ordered because Texas' morgues are full?

reply

When you equate 99% survival rate to "mass carnage"

reply

Tell that to the woman who lost six members of her family including both parents and her sister or the little boy whose parents died within days of each other.

Only a sociopath believes 245,000 dead Americans is not a big deal.

You'd think so, wouldn't you? By the time all this is over the US will have lost as many lives from covid as it did in all of WW2. In about 1/4 of the time; average daily US death rate in WW2 was ~220 whereas the US is currently at ~1200 covid deaths per day and heading much higher). And almost all this death and disability was utterly preventable. Shameful.

Of course I believe the virus is very real, but it sounds to me the people in these cases didn't. I've been trying my best to take the proper precautions for myself and people in my family. The fact of the matter is that, yes, the death rate is that low in anybody who is under 70.

Hmm New York is still pulling ahead with death count even though it only has half the case count. Was waiting to see Texas start catching up but hasn't moved much from 20k. NY on the other hand last I saw was 33k and now 34k.

What's shocking is watching the UK & Italy whizz past the US's awful death rate per million now whereas only a couple of months ago the US was the one doing increasingly worse and so passed *them* up then. Currently both the US and Europe desperately need to get their acts together. The wolf is here for them both.

Lol, have you checked China's reporting? Talk about man made virus or heavy censorship in the name of 'stability'. Why we need to decouple for that shit place pronto else it's all downhill eventually from here.
