“ Yes, that's right - he didn't believe it was a virus for the first few months, and brushed it off as a hoax.”
Doggie, you couldn’t be more wrong. Why do you insist in reporting untruths? He did NOT brush it off as a hoax! He said (and I admit a poor choice of words) “It’s the Democrats new hoax” to nail him. In January we had one recorded case, but also in January he shut the border to China. I would say that’s pretty damn fast. And remember Pelosi raked him over the coals for shutting the border! She went to Chinatown and said it was wonderful!

What's True
During a Feb. 28, 2020, campaign rally in South Carolina, President Donald Trump likened the Democrats' criticism of his administration's response to the new coronavirus outbreak to their efforts to impeach him, saying "this is their new hoax." During the speech he also seemed to downplay the severity of the outbreak, comparing it to the common flu.
What's False
Despite creating some confusion with his remarks, Trump did not call the coronavirus itself a hoax.
All we ask, we are aware you are an anti-Trumper, please inform us of the whole story...not just the bits and pieces you think will hurt him. Yet, you say nothing against Cuomo and De Blasio in their reluctance to act. Cuomo spread it all over New York which was the epicenter. Florida for a while denied entrance from New Yorkers because they were bring the virus with them.
When he asked his administration to stop testing he meant they were over testing. If someone had the sniffles they were tested. They were over testing. They are counting people in hospitals as having Covid, but they don’t! They have succumbed from other diseases.
Please, please read the Snopes timeline carefully. If you do you will see what you report is not the whole truth.
