CGI movies with big budgets are here to stay. The last time such a need for change occurred was in the late 60s. Things will get better, but I don't know when exactly. But though remakes will have to end, CGI, it's something that will have to be tolerated at worst. Just so you know, I agree with you about the gist of your post. Well, you have a platform to say what you want here. Welcome. He was just someone who had a mental breakdown after being part of something big. I guess you could also say he quoted the Bhagavad Gita. That's about it. Up to Nolan to stretch this premise into 3 hours. It's going to have an okay opening, but I doubt it will be the box office megahit that many fans are hoping. Woods might be just chuckling or smiling his way to the bank. I agree that Nolan should have won for Inception. Back then there was nobody to touch him. But I don't really like his artistic choices. Is that quote from Goodfellas? I'm guessing that quote is not, say, from the Pickwick Papers. You want to punch someone who (in his picture at least) looks like Jesus? Are you fishing for a 'begging the question' joke? For those who can't go to Michelin restaurants and who do live in North America, I recommend the Cheesecake Factory. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndqsvTIveR0 Not yet. I've heard good things about it. Same for me! I liked watching the movie even if I did not understand most of it. It was an exercise on my mind and its limits. Had to read the plot summary to understand the script. I'd like to see Albert Einstein (no not the Brook one) being given such treatment. He deserves it. He ought to have won another Nobel Prize. Primer (2004) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Primer_(film) Summer Time Machine Blues (2005) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_Time_Machine_Blues Keaton was misused. They should not have made him into a regular Batman, because he was old. His action scenes were unbelievable, and not in a good way. Head of Femur a cover of The True Wheel : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8rmqy29fZ4 Asimov was no saint, but he did not deserve to die the way he did. I like a couple of his books. He is one of the big three of 50s science fiction. That will always be true. I didn't enjoy watching it. I was being fair in my own way. For a movie to be worth 7.5 stars it would have to be better than merely being solid. Just my opinion. Whatever works, I suppose.
