Sweet thanks fir that
Sorry. I click the wrong place before I finished. Newbie here! (I edited it now)
So how did Cher possibly get away with that
Dude. You make it sound like actresses are forced or don't have a choice. She probably just refused any script that demanded that she had to show more skin than she was comfortable with. It's funny because I was watching Wolf the other night and today I watched What Lies Beneath and in both these movies she is very sexy. It's easy to imagine another actress showing her breasts. At least in Wolf. Hm... ok I get the idea. I'm not too sure about it though. Sedentary people don't tend to get smaller. Au contraire. But maybe one day we'll get to one point where the permanent sedentary lifestyle will make us reach a plateau and we'll then start shrinking. We'll just have to wait and see I guess (if we still exist at that point). For me it was Naked Gun. I saw it before Ferris Bueller's Day Off. She's not bad looking but she doesn't particularly catch my eye. Maybe it's because she's got too much makeup. Exactly the same thing for me. Even better the second time. Felt like it went by faster also. I don't re-watch movies very often.. and I'm thinking about re-watching this one for a third time. I can't really put my finger on the "why" but I think it's the kind of movie you can watch a couple of times and have a different impression of it each time. In no particular order... Men: Jack Nicholson, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Walken, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robert DeNiro, Harrison Ford, Denzel Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Jai White, Quentin Tarantino (for the very few times he went in front of the camera). Women: Angelina Jolie, Jamie Lee Curtis, Angela Bassett, Cate Blanchett, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, Helena Bonham Carter, Kathy Bates. That's just some I could think of. I agree that she looks a bit better with a little extra weight but still! I mean if we are going to compare her to Skeletor then okay... but she's the sexiest Skeletor I've ever seen. She looks waaaay more like She-Ra if you ask me. (came back to edit this) I just recalled hearing her in an interview, a long time ago, saying that she thought she had a "Daisy Duck" face, lol, because of her eyes wide apart and the shape of her mouth. It's kind of true! But I understand Donald... Daisy is a cutie! So it's no problem for me! Skeletor... tsss. Guy really have vision problems, smh. I like your explanation. For me it's the only one that make sense. The representation of the 3 most significant Jedi in Luke's life, using the good side of the Force. I'm thinking that he may have come to her, at her house or the garden, even before she completely turned. I can easily imagine her peacefully pet her friend wolf. Then.. when the next full moon arise, she'll go running with him and his pack forever. Very true. And James Spader was the perfect actor to portray this crafty man becoming a crazy wolf. "God awful" seems harsh to me but to each his own. I gave it a 6/10 because I would have shorten it of at least a good 15 minutes. But I find it pretty good. And actually, I like seeing special effect that aren't CGI. Call me weird but to me it's a plus. Even if it shows. My interpretation is that the dark wolf we see at the end is Will that finally turned completely and thus, stayed that way forever. Now I'm wondering why Laura would be changing but maybe she was injured by Stuart when he assaulted her or maybe its just the sex between her and Will.. you know... the fluids exchange and all... I believe that since she was turning, that in the next full moon she'll turn permanently and go join the "turned-wolf pack" that we saw in the beginning of the movie. I think that's where Will went. Another ending (but I'm stretching it here) could be that she finds Will's amulet in the stable, wore it, thus preventing her from turning permanently. She would still have wolf powers but would turn back to full human appearance in the morning. Will, in his wolf form, could go visit her. Or she could go in the forest and be among the wolves and see him there also. Either way they could spend time together, cuddle together like dogs and their owners do. This ending could maybe have opened the door to a sequel. Nothing puzzling at all. Stuart was already a dynamo: A young back-stabbing buck driven by ambition and power. It was already through the roof from the get go. It couldn't really get higher than this. What his newly acquired powers did was to drive him over the top to become a remorseless killer. He did kill Will's wife in order to frame Will for the murder so he could take his place as chief-editor. He also killed two security guards and tried to kill Laura. So it's not true that he didn't change at all (unless he secretly was a serial killer before he was bitten but that's hell of a strech, lol). Will tried his best not to become a killer but Stuart embraced it. What a odd idea to do a bad casting just because it would be surprising. I agree that she's gorgeous in Wolf. If I had to do a top 3 I'd say that I find her lusciously attractive in "What Lies Beneath" and super cute as a shy secretary, with her curly hair, in "Batman Returns" before she turned into the hottest Catwoman. Not in CGI. The most memorable scene for me (the first that always came to mind until I saw the movie again yesterday, 26 years later!) is when Will pisses on Stuart's (James Spader) shoes in the bathroom: Stuart: Are you crazy!? Will: No, I'm marking my territory. And you got in the way. This became an instant classic for me, lol. Secondly, I have to say the final fight between Will and Stuart. Especially when Will jumped over the bars of the enclosure in the stable (that's another scene I always remembered). I hear you, IcySpoon. That "manofsteel4455" (huh huh) most likely felt bad about himself and wanted to make other people feel like he does. He shared his ill-being in order to feel less alone. Well, it's been 7 years so hopefully he changed for the better but social media and forums are FULL of frustrated people and most are way worse than "manofsteel4455". Let's all go get bitten by a wolf and have our self-confidence issues resolved, lol.
