I don’t see this scenario being all that common honestly. All of the actors that hoped this would result in their big breakthrough into action movie stardom have to be pretty sore right now. Its like, "hey check me out 3 years ago in top gun: Maverick. I can handle the big roles." Recalling this one now, its been only a couple years and I've pretty much forgotten this one. I guess certain movies very high ratings on rottentomatoes.com (93%) because the critics either caught the move and liked it, or they have a friend/colleague that was somehow involved in the production. Its basically a waste of time for a movie critic to watch a ton of independent or foreign films just to give bad review. Now, giving a bad review to a movie like WaterWorld is much more exciting than trashing Hagazussa. Nope. It was funny as shit. Yeah so in water world when you see a bunch of sea pirates riding jet skis 300 years after earth has been covered in water, I guess you could include a scene showing them preserving the JetSki‘s on a ship for 300 years, which would remove the plot hole There weren’t cattle in The 1987 version. You just shoot deer and maybe bears Not big enough to feed the wagon train. Walker should go to 6666s. Why can Jimmy go but he can’t? I don’t think so. There’s no deer hunting. You mean Tim and Faith? I thought she looked a little but rough after the first episode. Sam Elliot looks every bit of 77 years old. I guess his character is supposed to be a good bit younger, maybe like 60 or so. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense consider his responsibilities on the journey, and his participation in battle in the Civil War (if character is 60, he would have been 40 in 1863, which would have been older but no unreasonable). So its the plug in the back of the head again?? Kevin Costner said something about his great-grandfather founding the ranch, so I assume he's referring to the 8 year old kid. So he's basically snagged two somewhat hot (7.5 for the first, and 8.0 for the 2nd) women. The 2nd one was not realistic, she basically said he was the only single man in the area. But its a ranch where you only have cowboys, and probably little use for women. So how is that possible? Anyways, point well taken. Maybe just being in the right place at the right time. One thing they can't have him doing is running for Governor. That one was run up the flagpole early in the season during that meeting with the various cattle barons. Apparently someone called the studio and explained to them how that would never work. (1) Beth: She's just annoyingly aggressive now. Its like she's just spitting out scripted one liners she bought from Dick Butkus; (2) Jamie: The man is nothing more than a punching bag for literally everyone. Should just find a state that allows him to waive in with a Montana bar license, find a job at a small firm, and work; (3) Teeter: The only redeeming quality about this person was that she talked funny when they found her. Now she's just annoying and her character arc is not believable; (4) Monica: She clearly hates white people. Okay, we get it. But she married a white guy so maybe tone it down a bit. (5) Jenkins: You just knew the writers were going to kill him off one way or another. No nuance whatsoever to the character. Incredibly naive and obtuse, yet very rich and successful. Ok.... Honorable mention: John Dutton's wife. What a bitch. How did she know he was coming back with a new girlfriend? Everyone there was surprised. Maybe he posted it on facebook or something. Right... they can't just make it a nature show. Gonna have to throw in some murder and mayhem. Right, and he got beat down by an old man after the same old man had stabbed him in the chest like a few hours beforehand. Talk about a rigged fight.... How do you re-program a human. Neo is not a terminator, which can apparently be re-programmed fairly easily after taking a night class in C++ programming. You don’t think learning how to jump 15 feet out of a river and into a helicopter should have been explained by a training sequence or something? You probably think Water World had no plot holes.
