If he's asleep, then maybe she should kill him in literally any other way that doesn't involve suicide? Plus, the amount of time it takes to change varies from person to person, sometimes it's near-instant, sometimes a day. Even if were set at 2 minutes for everyone, why would we assume he'd stay asleep during the change? I'm guessing he's a light sleeper. Sorry, but there's no sense to this idea and no logic to suggest it could possibly work, I don't know why you're so intent on it. It happened off-screen. At the end of last week, he defected from the Saviors and went off with Rosita. All their stuff was kept off-screen this week to keep us wondering and I guess give us a 'big reveal.' I think Rick just wanted to make Dwight submissive to him. Agreed. And even after throwing Regina under the bus for the umpteenth time, Snow always acts like everything should just be okay because forgiveness is divine or whatever. But then always has reservations about Regina's trustworthiness, without understanding why. I'm sure Negan can take care of one zombie alone, even if unexpected, or he wouldn't be where he was. That would be an unnecessary suicide for a very flawed plan. Agreed, that's what she'll have to do now. But I do wonder what his intent was. Because if he was trying to help her in that regard, why give her extra hoops to jump through? I got the vibe that he realized she was trying to play him, and this was his attempt to subvert that. I feel like it freaked her out and made her think for a second that suicide actually was her only option, but that she'll soon realize she can slip this in Negan's drink or something. I would guess 'Norma' has been going to that bar for a while. I'm going to guess she hasn't killed any though. Multiple reasons. 1: Since Norma has been going long enough to be known and a regular, there would be worry among the community, and noticed that people who leave with Norma disappear. 2: Not the MO. The show, reinforced by the movie, shows that Mother's victims tend to be people with a sexual interest in Norman: Bradley, Miss Watson, soon to be Marion, the mentioned other girls in the movie. And I know there were times I felt worried for Emma and Cody. The victims are not typically people Norma is interested in. sure, Norman gets jealous, and had his moment with the axe, but Mother is the killer, not Norman. Yeah, we could talk about Sam Bates, but that was arguably self-defense/preservation. Norma's not killing the gay guys, just having her fun with them. 3: Due to Norman's MO, I would say most of his victims are at the motel. I would guess there have probably been a few during the time jump, due to him being on his own all that time and descending further into madness, but I don't think we're supposed to think he's killed a Ted Bundy amount or anything. Each of his kills have presented specific opportunities for cover-up, and as we saw with Blackwell's car, sometimes sloppily, he's not a master. And he's in a fixed location, too many would go noticed, and not every woman checking in is going to fall over herself for him. I would say Norman got a lift home from the guy, who then drove himself home. Of course she took the wig off before going to sleep, how else would it happen? ;) Norma chooses the gay bar because somewhere in the recesses of the shared Bates brain, she knows and is protecting. Haha, I feel similarly. I felt bad for her about the unfair lack of mobility in her work, but, y'know, "now is not the time." But the boss was a jerk and an idiot. I can see what you mean. But, that hardly matters as we're in the home stretch of the story. If we assume that Norman gets caught and put away after killing Marion, it makes sense that there might be multiple witnesses to his unraveling, who had no idea what they were seeing at the time. It's just a screw-up in the writing, you're over-thinking it, just go with it. Nice catch though. Since they've had the whole show planned from the start, I'm surprised they weren't a bit more consistent. That surprised me too. At first, I assumed it was a straight bar, and was thinking no one could believe Norman in a wig is actually a woman. But once it was revealed to be a gay bar, that made more sense. There, guys would be likelier to just figure drag is Norman's "thing" and go along with it without thinking about it too much. Agreed. Not stellar, a little wooden at times, but not terrible. "Maggie isn't even acting like her and she was with Glenn for a long time and pregnant with his child" Maggie also seemed to forget about Beth for a good while, so what can you expect? Cool, thanks. Now to add to that, would be awesome of each season of anthology shows (like American Horror Story) got their own board. Haha, wish we could 'Like' posts I am. Liking it here mostly. There's not much traffic in general, but I think it'll pick up in time. Seems like fewer trolls. Wish I could merge my new account here with my old. Like the site overall, though I don't really care for how the threads read. But it was the best of the alternatives after imdb shut their boards down. Saw a few other sites that seemed cool, but would be devoted entirely to one show, and I didn't feel like messing with that. Agreed. Sounds like it being about the election wasn't for real though. My reaction was "Who wants to relive that for ten episodes a year later?" Wonder why. I didn't watch it, but from what I could tell, the ratings and reviews were both decent enough, at least not so terrible as to think two episodes would be it.
