"Its like saying Transformers 5 is better than Transformers 4. They are both bad. 1917's gimmick is that its filmed in one shot, which it isn't." ^^^This^^^ 1917 6/10 Dunkirk 6/10 LMAO LMAO Reminded me of Chicago winning Best Picture. Just blows my mind these people are allowed to vote. I wouldn't have made the reference if I hadn't seen it. Since you couldn't make that connection on your own, I'm going to take your post as meaningless. Have you ever watched a film and thought "Why was this movie made?" Wait until it gets to Redbox or free TV and there's nothing else on that's interesting. It fills a void. Nothing new. You may even crack a smile from time to time. "GARFIELD IS WORSE". I second that. Lol. "Did they actually refer to the lawmen as 'highwaymen' in the movie?". Yes. Well that didn't answer their question. Lol. It's actually defined within the film. When they hired Hamer and told him what his salary was. Hamer and Gault were the Highwaymen. Which is basically a Highway Patrolman. They were no longer Texas Rangers. They weren't Government Agents. They didn't even get badges. All this information was told in the film. LMAO. 5/10. Nothing to write home about. 👍 Hawkeye's haircut. I thought I stumbled into one of Bryan Singer's pool parties. Hawkeye's haircut represented them pretty well IMO. Same here. 7/10. "No one" is two words. You could also include what Miles said about seeing a senator beat a whore. Robert Kennedy was a senator, MLK was not. It's listed as Drama/Horror. It should have included Comedy, as I spent most of the film laughing. Not out loud, maybe more of a giggle. It was just so comical. The neighbor reminded me of Jason Lee as Earl. All the "scary" moments were so telegraphed it was laughable. It has zero rewatch value. It's not terrible, but it's one of those film's you question why make it in the first place. 5/10. 4-20 Well, nothing you said happens in the movie. So I'm assuming the film is nothing like the book. As for the other comment about Eli shooting the Commodore to make sure he's dead, lol, he just punches him in the coffin. As for the film itself, I gave it a 5/10. It's one of the film's, that when you're watching it, you ask yourself; why did they make this film? It's pointless. You're an hour in before anything interesting happens. I went into this movie thinking it was an Adventure/Comedy. I chuckled once. And that was at the very end when the mother tells Charlie he's missing something.
