Yep. I normally don't even bother watching anything below a 6. But the user reviews pointed at a discrepancy between really good or really bad. Some reviews even said "Don't listen to the reviews, decide for yourself". So I watched it and decided it only deserves a 5/10. ^^This^^. They performed fine until the paradox occurred. I have no issues with the movie. Well, except for the water freezing instantly and the gun. Yes, you can make a gun with a 3-D printer, but you can't make gun powder. I was going to excuse it because they be may have substituted the powder with maybe a solid fuel source. Oh, and the gravity not portrayed correctly. Lol. ^^This^^ Life? I gave it a 5/10 and thought I was being generous. Cloverfield 2/10 Lane 7/10 Paradox 7/10 Notice a trend? People who liked Cloverfield, don't like the other 2. The opposite is also true. I didn't like Blair Witch either. That should tell you something. I gave it a 7 too. I put off watching this because of the low IMDb score. But after scanning some of the user reviews, I noticed a trend. People who liked Cloverfield hate this one. I didn't like Cloverfield. I enjoyed 2 and 3. Lol. Well, if they spent more time discussing the intricacies of the lighthouse, then it would have been an interesting lighthouse movie. Since no one knows what happened in real life, this film is fiction. The film tries to steer the audience into the "They went mad from mercury poisoning." He even says he looks like Charlie. Charlie is the name of James's child. Glad I didn't spend any money on this. Sorry, don't see it. Scoured the scene and at no time can you see beyond the robe. The bulges in the robe are always visible in the front, all the way up to the kiss. Since there should be more blood on the robe, I took it as a Goof or just part of the fantasy. If one believes it was a fantasy. "When he's pouring the liquor shot glass of Drano, you can see that the barbed wire has been removed" And you came to that conclusion, how? I can still see the bulges in the robe caused by the barb wire underneath. "The door was locked and Cedric couldn't get in, so there's no way Mary could have gotten in either...right?" She enters through a different door. It may still be fantasy, but the door being locked for Cedric is irrelevant. Humans survived the Ice Ages. It's called adaptation. Oceans rise, move to higher ground. Climate warms and Canada becomes the breadbasket of North America. Extinct? Lol. Robbed? +2 I also gave it a 6/10. I liked the idea, not the execution. They could have followed basic call center protocol and still made a decent film. Some people are entertained by shiny objects. Anyone with a 5th grade education knows an emergency call center doesn't function that way. All the people in the room, including the supervisor would have been involved. I also find it hard to believe, that an officer being investigated for discharging a firearm that caused a human fatality, is still working. He would be on paid leave until the investigation is over. I liked the idea, just not the execution. Disappointed. The Conjuring 6/10 The Conjuring 2 5/10 The Nun 6/10 Haven't seen either Annabelle movies, and probably won't considering that everyone thinks they suck. Lorraine Warren was born in 1927. The movie was set in 1952. Sister Irene appears to be in her early 20s. Sister Irene is either Lorraine, or possibly Lorrain's sister. Maybe no relation at all. You'll have to wait for the next movie. Mother? Really?
