I believe that. Movies are a product of their time. And, not everyone is going to like every movie, and I know that, as do you. But, being a member of the "Boomer" generation (and proud of it), I saw this film in the theater when it was released, and it was gritty, intelligently acted and directed and with what is considered the best movie car chase ever filmed. I believe that it deserves the accolades it receives. It was made in a different era. Before ridiculously over the top car chases and explosions became the norm. Back when audiences appreciated realism in film. And great acting. "Who Goes There?" is a great read also. The movie was alright, but the short story is better. King's description of what happens to the hero in that room is incredible. The movie was alright, but the short story is better. If so, it is probably scripted and not a concern (to me). If this is a candid from a paparazzi, then it does not hold water with me. The paparazzi are not friends with celebrities. The get paid to find "dirt" on famous people. And, to me, it looks like they were being playful. Apparently you cannot recognize my appreciation of his humor. He was obviously being "clever". Either that, or like you insinuated, he is a part of the peanut gallery and actually believes what he said. Oh, and by the way, with all due respect, who are you to tell me what to do (or not to do)? The only two people on this Earth who could tell me that are both deceased. So, if you still have your parents, make sure you appreciate that they are still around. Bingo! I was right! "The ironic thing is my opinion is much more worth listening to than his." You made your post invalid when you responded with an obscenity. People lose credibility when they resort to swearing at others when their opinion doesn't match theirs. I am sure you will respond to me the same way. hahaha! Good one! Dune is a 1965 science fiction novel by American author Frank Herbert, originally published as two separate serials in Analog magazine. It tied with Roger Zelazny's This Immortal for the Hugo Award in 1966 and it won the inaugural Nebula Award for Best Novel. It is the first installment of the Dune saga; in 2003, it was described as the world's best-selling science fiction novel. The video game was based on the book. Rampage came out AFTER "Watchmen" I second Kurt Russell. Trevorh321 just made his post a little lacking. Roger Moore and Frank Sinatra, as good as they were as actors, to my mind they were never really action stars. But, as far as I am concerned, Kurt is a BONAFIDE action star! Wish I could agree with the OP, but it wasn't a superhero film. It felt to me more like Winter Soldier. A spy thriller with slight elements of superhero action (Red Guardian's scenes) Scarjo, an actress, will probably NOT blame anyone. For one thing, she is just an actress, and not the producer of the film. That is probably where some of the blame should go. But, seriously, I think it is just bad timing due to the pandemic. No. It is supposed to be the impending doom for the swimmer. It was also used on the front cover of one edition of the book (which I hated. The movie is that rare instance in cinema where the movie is better than the book, IMO) I agree with your post. You nailed it!
