shareThis seems like such a dumb general question. It’s a story from a particular point of view. If the story doesn’t appeal to you, there are a million other outlets to seek what you’re looking for.
Personally, all I needed to know was that it was the same director as “Shawn of the Dead”, “Hot Fuzz”, and “Baby Driver”. Politics never crossed my mind. I just wanted to see what a talented director would do with his next movie. A simple, and uncomplicated endeavor.
It’s woke. There’s much to enjoy in the film but it’s slathered in sexist, racist white-males-are-evil messaging. I’d suggest watching but make sure you don’t pay for it.
