So many questions after watching this...

My first question is how did Michael have time to have such relationships with these two kids? This documentary made it look like he had tons of down time and did nothing but impress these two kids and their respective families. My understanding of someone of an icon status like MJ is that they are constantly busy and constantly working.

My second question is, let's say he did sexually abuse these two boys, when MJ got into trouble...not once but twice, he called on both of them to defend him and testify for him. That would really be dumb on MJ's part to ask them to testify for him because according to these two, he HAD been molesting them. That's one hell of a chance to take on MJ's part.

MJ's first accuser settled for money. If it were my kid, no amount of money would ever matter to me, I'd want justice. And likewise, if I were innocent of the charges, I'd never give up any amount of money and want to prove my innocence.

And what about Macauley Culkin? He maintains the two were close but nothing inappropriate happened. If MJ was a child molester, why didn't anything happen there?

More and more questions....

reply

If you have kids all you have to do is ask yourself this...

If my child is molested, do I make sure the book is thrown at the perp, or do you put a price on my child and settle for money?

MJ is innocent. Weirdo, but not a molester.

reply

He was definitely weird that's for sure. And no, I'm not completely convinced he was a molester. Does he fit the profile, yes he does...does that mean he was guilty? No it doesn't.

reply

Oh so ok what if the perpertator is a world famous person with psycho fucking fans who harass your family and throw dead rats on your front lawn?
You are all so ready to say Its Different With Micheal, well then its different for his victims and families of their victims. No wonder they gave up.

reply

If the crime is real....yes I'd bury that motherfucker. Famous or not.

My children are NEVER for sale...maybe yours are, but you do you.

reply

That's what I'm saying...yes if it's real...throw the book at him...no amount of money would ever be worth it to me.

And likewise...IF I'm accused of this grotesque crime...no amount of money would ever matter to me....I'm innocent. I'd want my name cleared.

I'm sure MJ's staff was constantly working. But unless he was rehearsing or on the road, he had plenty of down time.

Molesters know the control they have over their victims. They wanted to keep their special relationship going, and were probably half or completely in love with Michael. And if not, they likely didn't want the blowback from demented, rabid fans who weren't above death threats and throwing dead pets onto people's yards. Finally, they'd have to answer, "Well, if he was doing those unspeakable things to you, why did you stay?" How do you explain to someone who wasn't there the insane environment that had somehow become normal because of the careful way Michael had groomed them?

One of the things predators do is look for victims in dysfunctional families. So you wouldn't have taken the money? Do you think a dysfunctional parent would? In a heartbeat, m'lad.

How do you know nothing happened with Culkin? Because he said so? Review the paragraph on why the victims stay and why they'd lie -- and why the perp would KNOW they'd lie for him.

reply

Agreed.
He was a master manipulator. It was his job to keep these boys loving him and feeling exclusive.
That Neverland compound was intoxicating to everyone that entered.
Part of the grooming process -Too many boys, too many sleepovers and too many accusations to think that nothing ever happened.
