Because that dude was the guy who constructed the rail he was attached to - makes sense he'd want to blow up the entire place. It could also be seen as a bit metaphorical, destroying/moving beyond his past as a meth slave.

He's already a wanted criminal moving away with a new identity so who cares about evidence or no evidence in this particular case.
