Mmm, seems isekai influenced. And I agree, Moretz is a big plus.

The author of the novel this is based on is William Gibson who's the originator of cyberpunk. So to me, it seemed more like cyberpunk. Gibson's first novel was 'Neuromancer' published back in 1984. If you're a reader, I highly recommend his books.

Well I thought the first two episodes were quite good, especially the CGI and the futuristic London Skyline, but if it was the year 2100 I would have expected a lot more huge skyscrapers besides the huge statue type buildings. We will have to see how it pans out, but in the meantime I think I'll buy the novel by William Gibson that Tricklebrook mentioned and give that a read, that way I can compare the novel to the rest of the season as it plays out.
