There's nothing worse in life than ambiguous endings.

So, like, wtf happened after the girl went up?...

I hate this new trend in movies of just not having an ending, because they want you to think about it and interpret the ending in your own way, or talk to other people and ask how they perceived the ending and what they believe is the "meaning" behind it. What a crock of shit. How about NO? How about you include the fucking ending in the movie? How about we resolve the last 2 hours we invested our time to?

This movie was great, 10/10, right up to the credits. I literally said "What? That's it? Awwwwh fuck this shit"

I change my vote to 1/10 because of this god awful pathetic excuse of an ending.

And of course anyone that goes online and rants and raves about these movies with no ending, is back-lashed with "You didn't understand it, honey" or "Your brain just can't comprehend the meaningfulness behind it" or just "You're stupid". Nah. I'm not stupid. This ending is.

It's a lazy ending. Ambiguous endings are, 80 percent of the time, Annoying.

It is possible to work out what happens at the end based on the simple law of physics.

The platform stops abruptly on level zero, the girl does not and is launched through the roof of the facility like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory but without the glass elevator.

I think you'll agree this is the interpretation of the films message makes the most sense.

Yeah, I don't think it was the greatest ending ever but I don't see how they could have wrapped things up in the last few minutes to your satisfaction. There was way too much that was kept mysterious all the way through--they would have had to make a whole 'nother movie to tie up everything, and that would have been weirdly at odds with the tone of the film.

I thought it was good but not great overall. 7/10

I hate those non-sending so much. Its like writers just dont know how to write a good and satisfying ending so they just end movie when there has to be explanation.

And so many low-budget movies have those non-endings. Eventually whats the point to watch them if nothing will be concluded?

Problem with movie writers that they can create interesting premise. But then they simply dont know how to end it. And people and critics should hand them responsible and write more about it.

End of the floors was just a McGuffin. They dint know how to explain it. They created Woman with Lost child. So they decided to bring up that child. Only to make it another McGuffin.

Honestly I would like them to show at the end how they all were on another planet and aliens were experimenting. At least then movie would make some sense and purpose. Or it was virtual reality.
