no warwick davis? wtf??? so wrong

i mean how can they just not cast warwick davis in this role which only he could do as well as he does it?

Maybe just maybe he wasn’t interested?

I know it's a strange case. I did enjoy this movie though. The absence of Warwick was disappointing, could have at least given us fans a cameo. Apparently he turned it down because he has kids. At least that's what the posts said online. Honestly think that's fake news though, I'm not buying it. He's said for years he'd love to do another one. Something happened behind the scenes. You don't just abandon a character you portrayed 6 times. In his book he mentions many happy times from the Leprechaun franchise.

and the new actor doesn't do it anywhere near as well as warwick. he just is off in some ways personality wise. and too distastefully mean and cruel. and he didn't really show his personality and feelings and emotions and humanness. he was lifeless. and he wasn't likable because of all of these reasons. don't you agree?

I didn't think he was awful, but he's not Warwick Davis. His version of the Leprechaun was different, but still enjoyable. It would've been awesome to see how this turned out if Warwick was back though. Leprechaun Returns was definitely better than Leprechaun Origins.

It should be horn swoggle

LOL no thanks. His performance in Leprechaun Origins was forgettable.

They asked him. He doesn't want to do horror movies now that he is a father. Said maybe when his kid is 18.

He's probably got options now anyway.

Since appearing on that TV show with Ricky Gervais, he seems to have become a TV personality in his own right.

Previously a lot of his work had been playing Ewoks, Leprechauns and various mythical creatures in Harry Potter. Nowadays he hosts a game show in his native UK. Obviously, I don't know what he gets paid for both. But if he has regular work, maybe being in a movie where he has to put on a lot of make-up isn't as attractive?

As said previously though, he feels he wants to do stuff that his kids can watch now so doesn't fancy horror movies as much. It doesn't sound like it was because they didn't want him.

For what it's worth, I enjoyed this movie for what it was. Probably not as much as the originals, but I didn't hate it.
