shareIt is odd how many people who have read Kaczynski's manifesto says that it seems logical and cogent to them, and not the ravings of a madman. It is hard not to look at the state of this planet and humans on this planet and not think that humans are not intelligent and out of control. The problem is it make no rational sense to kill people or send mail bombs to deal with the problem.

I do think this movie romanced much of him, but in my mind, should I ever go rogue, I would not be much different...

The only "way" what he did was not to change anything but to spew hate and violence out in the world - which if you think about it is exactly why drives the cycle of the establishment since we stopped being hunter gatherers.
Even if you could take out the top level leadership of the corporate and government class, you still have to replace it with something. If I had to draw a conclusion about him, I'd say his actions have very little to do with his manifesto. If his manifesto made sense ( and I am not sure it really did even though some things he said were true ) then the intelligence in evidence there was not driving him terrorist actions, it was some other psychological pent up anger and frustration. Maybe the thing to do there is look for and research a way to influence like minds. Look at how the Right wing has worked so well to channel crazies together under the banner of fake freedom.
But then he and any other system critics have no channel to reach people and no standing for them to be taken seriously.
