99% correct. I actually liked Lee Pace' character, but hated every other character. They all deserved to die.

Hopefully that was the point but you never can tell these days.

For me that made the comedy even funnier.

Agreed, I wouldn’t want to spend 3 minutes with any of them but somehow it worked for the story.

I found it a very good mansion mystery and the climax was very good.

They were annoying, but it was amusing to watch bad things happen to them and laugh at their idiotic behaviour.

I think that was the point.
