This was bad

If you are going to do a story about Tony Soprano, focusing on black guys should be minimal.
Yet, they took up so much screen time, even in the post credit scene.

Nothing special about the rest of the movie. Disappointing, and I've never seen the Sopranos.

Thanks for that "insight".

I would like to watch it.

As a huge fan of The Sopranos, I LOVED this movie. So much in fact, I watched it twice in a row.
It doesn’t surprise me though if you don’t know the show, the movie wouldn’t interest you as much.

If you're such a big fan of The Sopranos, did you even watch the recent podcast, Talking Sopranos?

reply

Tony was only a guest star in his own movie it felt like

reply

It makes you wonder if a second movie is possible to bridge the gap between this one and the series???

reply

It's actually impressive just how pointless and mediocre this movie was. Chase needs to realize he's not a movie guy, as much as he desperately wants to be.

reply

Yep, it was painfully mediocre and actually had scenes that made me cringe a bit. How did Chase get this so wrong? Where was the charm of the tv series?

reply

The look, the acting..everything was so cringe worthy.
