Just saw this. Solid flick.

So I went to see Greenland last night, was my first cinema viewing since March.

The movie was really solid, loved how much they invested in character development. A lot of dissaster end of the world movies lacks that.

This is more of psychological drama than a flashy explosions movie. It had some issues with the plot but I was glad I saw it. I remember when I watched 2012 and came out of cinema ranting how awful that was. This was not the case.

Also I was glad to see a small cameo from Holt McCallany in this (I'm a big Mindhunter fan)

So a strong 7/10

Would recommend for any disaster movie fan.

I agree, 7/10. Better then expected. Not as corny as 2012 and The day after tomorrow. Thrilling, sad, and satisfying.

I am actually glad to hear that. I like Gerard Butler but he has become a synonym for bad movies in the last few years. I mean Geostorm. Hunter Killer and Angel Has Fallen all were really bad so I am glad he made a decent movie. I am going to check it out tonight and then I'll get back to you ;)

I liked it too but thought it was a bit over melo dramatic with the wife and kid, but then this is Hollywood style, I would have preferred it darker but then it would not have been a feel good movie which can reach all audiences.

I thought it was a decent movie 6.5/10
