Season 2 was rated 8+ for all episodes but the last, which gets lots of 1* ratings and reviews.
Season 3 episodes flooded with fake 1* ratings and "woke" review bombing.

well the fact that there is a lot of wokeness and political correctness brainwash is definitely true , then whether most viewers like it or not is another thing.
shareJust finished watching season 3 and I gotto say, it was probably the best season thus far. Lots of interlinked stories, only one filler episode - great for binge watching. Less humor than in previous seasons, but a lot more action/tension, which I like.
As far as wokeness is concerned, I suppose if you really get into it, it was there, but the stories were so well written, that it didn't bother me a bit.
I'm glad season 4 is coming - if peeps stop watching it, too bad, because it looks like this show is actually picking up pace, rather than dropping it, like most other shows do after season 3. By the way, I wouldn't be surprised if the viewership dropped due to woke news media crapping on cops 24/7. I wonder if there was a similar drop in viewers for the other cop shows as well.
I am so sick and tired of people here whining about "woke this, woke that". Guess what, people? Dealing with social issues in cop shows is literally nothing new-----you can find old-school police shows like Police Story and N.Y.P.D. which go back to the early '70s and late '60s that dealt with the social issues of their time. Dealing with racism and police brutality is not "political correctness", they are part of real life. You're only whining about the term "woke" because you don't want to hear about these subjects. Too damn bad----shut the hell up whining about it. If you don't like the show, don't watch it then----nobody wants to hear your whiny-a** complaints about it any more. The Rookie's an excellent show----the fact that it's back for a third season proves that. I've watched it from the beginning, and like the fact that it's not your typical tired predictable cop show---and the premise, about a middle-aged dude having to prove that he can be a decent cop, is different.
And all the term "woke" means is being aware of social issues and injustice in society that one can help deal with by engaging in action to change things. Acting like it's some bad word just because you don't want to hear about those things is stupid as hell, because it's not.

All of season 3 was to placate actor Titus Makin because he threatened to leave and after a season just for him he decides to just not return to the show? Fūçk him and his tender premodonna P0S ways

Well i sure as hell stopped watching because of it.
I stopped after the racist cop goes absolutely mental on a black family. How the hell did he manage to stay on the force that long? He seemed an inch away from randomly killing them all. That's not just racism, that guy's a fucking psycho.
And if that wasn't enough, then the doctors being horrible to a black pregnant woman. Of course, a black woman doctor was the good one.
Then West going all "it's not good enough", all the old guys seeing the error of their ways. Jesus, this isn't a show anymore, it's a soapbox for people like the moron who replied here being sick of woke complainers.
