Why another villian film?

It seems weird to me that the DC people don't understand the basic idea of a superhero universe. It's like they don't believe in the popularity of their heroes. I have zero interest in anymore Suicide Squad and the idea behind this movie leaves me cold.

The same happened with.Tdk, because ledger died people automatically gave the movie a 10

reply

How would you score TDK? To me it is not a 10, but a solid 9, one of my all time favorite movies, and it doesn't have anything to do with Heath dying or not. I personally don't like most MCU films, and I particulary hate what they've done to Spiderman, my favorite comic book character.

reply

I'd score TDK an 8, maybe even a 7. The first 2/3 of the film is fantastic. But then, we come to the ferryboats portion of the film. It turns into a shitshow, very much like the other crappy DC movies. The last third of the films negates the rest of what could have been the best superhero film ever made.

Sony did Venom with a Marvel villain so it’s not only DC who is going all about we prefer Villains over heroes and Fox got super successful with Deadpool while he ain’t a Villain people consider him an antiHero.

But yeah I do think the love for bad guys movies it’s a little disheartening and well that’s why I do love the MCU they do believe in their heroes and believe heroes are cool and interesting too it’s not only about a lighter and more family friendly tone but they do think heroes can be interesting, they believe in Them to make fans cheer for them.

They make our heroes a little flawed and give them good and bad qualities but at the end MCU Marvel thinks heroes are cool.

Thats MCU's biggest Flaw they dumb down these comic characters in the movie just to sell toys and they give anybody a movie like Boring ass no depth Black Widow(I'm a comic widow fan but in the movies she sucks,Plus Scar's Face started changing after Avengers 1)

There lots of Villians that have movie Potential like Deathstroke can have a solo movie or two. IF done right Suicide Squad could have been good, the animated movies were really good

Most of them are lame as hell. Captain Marvel is a perfectionist.

I don’t think they dumbed them down, sure they’ve made some big changes but I feel like at the end it works.

I loved MCU Tony Stark very much much, I feel like they did right to not make him that dark. Robert Downey Jr. Was perfect for this version of Tony though I do think he could have done the darker version as well.

But I think Marvel is working on the MCU in a different way and we can all see it as another universe of the Multiverse.

Since you are a comic fan correct if I’m wrong but in every universe of the marvel multiverse exist a different Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye and black Widow and in each one their personalities are completely different so yeah we can treat the the MCU as a different earth 😉

They are all cracking Jokes. Stark is a failed comedian in the mcu which is the opposite of the books. I don't think multiverse means making campy versions of the characters

Just going after movies for whites to see while they still have a majority population.
