Season or Series Finale?

The show itself didn’t let on whether or not this was a season or series finale. HBO is usually good about that but in this case they didn’t specify. Yes I watched the show this evening & I saw what everyone else saw but is it over?

What say you all?

I liked that T2 ending. Thought the shogoth might do a face chop but the throat crush was way better.

It was a so-so twist (well I thought it was kinda sappy) that the Shogoth turned out be “their” Shogoth, in that it was a special one just for them, it even killed other Shogoths. That kinda made me roll my eyes some but I see why they did it.

Leti gets her “mark” back but who gave it to her? That’s not explained but hey it’s a show, that’s explanation enough i guess.

Actually I liked that Titus guy, if there’s a season 2 maybe we’ll see more of him but probably not as it’s going to enrage the African American population just by him...well being him.

That girl Diana, now how the hell is she going to explain that arm to anyone? You know when she has to go back to school? Jut being out in public? Going to the doctors, shit like that. They just threw it out there but it really doesn’t make much sense. Do you agree?

Lol, no reason for black people to be upset at an accurate portrayal of a person from that time period. I think black people would only be angry if they tried to white wash someone like that.

It wasn’t a twist. Not every climax is a twist.

Sometimes a climax is just a climax.

Yeah, that was an allusion. That’s not a typo.

This lame-ass excuse for a website forced a double post as it spun him bitty cyber wheels.

And we still have newbies asking for upgrades to this site that has not changed in 4 years, nor ever shall.

Well, nothing's over when there's magic involved.
As long as they come up with with a good script for season 2 anything is possible.

But of course, where everything will be made as right as rain again. Tic dead? Not a problem, he’ll be back. Same for Christina, because you can’t keep a good (bad) wench down. Titus, Samuel, Lancaster (Hey he got the right spare parts!). When you put pen to paper & write the script with the mindset, “F*%k it! I can do what I want” miracles happen. It’s all good baby.

The problem with all of this MAGIC stuff is how NOTHING would be PERMANENT anymore. The WOODY is wrecked one night, then it's NOT WRECKED anymore the next day. LETI is DEAD, then NOT DEAD, then is DEAD AGAIN, then NOT DEAD AGAIN (after CHRISTINA as RUBY throws her from that TOWER after the PROTECTION SPELL was gone).

So now that the FREEMAN FAMILY is in CONTROL of the MAGIC POWERS, one could also see a situation where other WHITE people would steal and use the TIME MACHINE as a way to go back in time and CHANGE TIME so that they'd be in CONTROL again.

Because MONTROSE was also going to CHANGE TIME by saving the LIFE of that other young BOY that he fell in love with.

So if you've got the BLACK FAMILY then going back in TIME again to CHANGE things that some WHITE folks have CHANGED, then you could also end up with a pretty GOOFY situation where you'd never know who would be in POWER from day to day or even HOUR to HOUR.

So one day the BLACK FOLKS might RULE the WORLD, and then the NEXT day the WHITE FOLKS might, which could also lead to LOTS of TOTAL CHAOS and to the need to completely do away with all of the MAGIC. Because then one might also end up with a story like "DARK CITY" where the residents of that place also never knew WHO they'd be the next day or what the CITY might look like (after it had been CHANGED to something completely different over night).

As for whether or not the show will be back for another SEASON again, with all of the GOOD REVIEWS that the show has gotten so far, my bet is that it will most definitely BE BACK again for another SEASON.

Because with the way that TRUE BLOOD was so popular before, I also think this show might even become just as popular as that show was (if not more so at some point).

There’s a lot over, when we white folk NO LONGER HAVE MAGIC at our command.
