One thing bothered me

I did not buy it AT ALL when the family allowed the former housekeeper to enter the Park house when she came to collect the item she left behind. The Kims up to that point had shown themselves to be pretty street smart, certainly not stupid, and it would have been the logical thing to have said, "Tell me what you left behind, I'll go get it and bring it to you." It was so evident that letting her in would be way too risky, and the movie jumped the shark a little for me at that point.

I doesn't really bother me, for once the father already voice out his concerns about the driver, so it seems they are not heartless people and the woman was out in the pouring rain, letting her stay out while you look for whatever it is in the basement it's just plain cruel

I've done far dumber things when drunk lulz

Yup. I really enjoyed the film, but this in many ways was the actual weak point.

That said if that hadnt have happened we'd have had no story!

LOL

EXACTLY what I was thinking. They were drunk, the living room was a mess of garbage and broken glass...the perfect opportunity to apologize but fall back on the "I'm responsible for my boss's place while he's gone, its not my call whether or not to let you in, please come back when he's home".
I thought that answer would almost be reflexive so...yeah made no sense, but there were quite a few things I had to suspend disbelief for in order to enjoy the film...but I did and I did. Great movie all in all, I thought.

I like this - I should try to do this more with other movies. I can be too perfectionistic!
