spidey is going back to Sony.
I heard Spider-man is going back to sony if Spider-Man: Far from Home doesn't make 1 billion.
I don't know if this is true or not.
but if Spider-Man goes back to sony then that mean another reboot.

Sony and Holland's contract with Marvel includes one more solo film. He's already had the 3 crossover appearances in Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame. So once part 3 is done, it's up to them.
shareSpidey is back with Sony. so there's no part 3 sadly.
shareSpidey was always with Sony. All the Spider-Man movies were paid for by Sony with Sony getting 95% of the box office revenue. Feige made a deal with Pascal to borrow the character for the MCU's Infinity Saga. Feige and Pascal always knew that partnership wasn't permanent. But the final decision to end it wasn't made until now.
The real reason Spidey is out of the MCU for the time being is because the MCU doesn't really need him. Down the road, there's always a chance Feige and Pascal will partner again to bring Spidey back into the MCU.
I really don't want Spider-Man in the MCU. He served his purpose, it was fun, but I much prefer pure Spidey without all the Iron Man horseshit. MCU has the Fantastic Four now and all of the damn X-Men. Spider-Man's gonna be an extra face in the crowd at best. Soon we're gonna be drowning in Wolverine again.
shareYeah I kinda agree. I agree in the sense that the MCU used him where they needed him. Since they don't need him right now, I don't see what the big fuss is.
shareI think the big fuss is they wrote Iron Man and Captain America out of the story. Ruh-roh. There's no likeable white guy left to anchor the cast.
