I'd have no problem with a black Lex. And his last name is LUTHOR, just FYI.

They're reportedly looking at Bill Skarsgard. Surprised it's not Austin Butler.

He is black in some versions of the animated releases. And we have had a Transylvanian Dracula for centuries.

To take that further, we have also had Blacula for decades...
