Jesus was brown, not white

He is literally from the Middle East. Why would he be white?

reply

I'll bait take the bait! Before Muhammed the great profet, most of Europe, North Africa and the middle east were populated by white oppressors quite literary. They came, they slaughtered and raped and settled. Then came Mohammed and his horde came from Saudi Arabia, and he raped and slaughtered all the way to southern Spain and Italy, hence the brown skin in this part. Jesus was born year 0. Mohammed year 700 or something. So these parts were mostly white supremacist those days.

reply

No. Arabs, Jews and even ancient Egyptians were Semitic peoples. So Jesus and Mohammad were both Semitic brown-skinned men. Remember this was before Jews migrated to Europe and mixed with white Europeans.

reply

Well, we are ultimately all homo sapiens, doesn't mean we all look the same, right? Semitic people probably didn't either, yet no one knows for sure. We do know that Caucasian races ruled these lands for a millennia though, so there would be plenty of time to breed forth a whitish Jew. According to your statement, it took at most 1000 years to turn Semitic Arab looking Jews into the ones we know today.

reply

Sure, both Greeks and Romans had conquered the Levant. I guess you're saying Cleopatra was a white Greek so why not Jesus? And I'll add that the first Christians were Hellenized Jews. Still, not enough Greeks and Romans migrated to Asia to overwhelm the native brown skinned Semitic peoples.

I'm saying Jews in the first century may have mixed with Greeks but not much. Jews became white in Europe.

reply

That is probable. And I'm saying there's nothing indicating a Jew in Palestine would look like an Arab today, which the OP implies. Because different people lived there historically. and while Arabs and Jews might share a common bloodline as you imply, there's no consensus what they looked like, or if they looked the same. Op wants an Arab looking jesus, I'm pointing out that that is necessarily not what he looked like and that a white jesus is plausible. Some Egyptian Pharaohs had red hair for instance. I'm not dealing with absolutes though, since there is no scientific consensus regarding it. Just wanting to make some think a little.

reply

This is about as true as Star Wars lore. Obviously biased because you pointlessly boast about how the Middle Easterns raped and slaughtered people but don't mention that the Christian Crusaders did the exact same thing. Shut off Shapiro and go outside.

reply

If you read properly you'll see that I'm not biased towards any race. Story ends at ad 800, so no time to get to the crusades. Good luck.

reply

"Jesus was born year 0"

There was a year 0?

reply

Who gives a fuck? You can make your version of the story with any color race you feel like. Have fun and good luck with your production.

reply

Jesus was Jewish. The 12 Disciples were Jewish.

His skin color is not relevant.

reply

You have no way of knowing, unless you have seen Jesus, what color his skin was (as if that's in any way relevant). There are a lot of people from the Middle East, or who have that genetic heritage, who are fair-skinned.

reply

Because we have a black Cleopatra, a black Achilles, a black gay Santa, and a Native-American Isaac Newton, just to name a few. I'm sure people will survive with a white Jesus.
