I'm boycotting your movie due to Michael Shannon's comments.

I'm much more motivated to see it now based on those comments and will definitely hit the theaters for it.

Why can't actors and actresses just shut up about politics/other divisive topics and simply promote their movies? I really want to see TSOW and will still likely see it, regardless of Shannon's ill-considered statements.

Seriously, do these stars want a continued paycheck, or are they going to keep antagonizing fans who's dollars they count on for their movies to be successful? Ask Emily Blunt what happens when you make stupid statements, prior your upcoming movie (Sicario) and it ends up financially flopping, all because you couldn't just be an actress versus being an activist.

Shut up and make a movie. How hard can that be?!?

You might at least explain WTF you are talking about ... that is like the minimal thought process for making a post. I doubt he cares if you are anyone so careless and a bad writer boycotts his movie.

You are free to do whatever you choose for whatever reason, however, Shannon's comments have zero to do with the splendid job he did in this movie.

Along the same lines, Kevin Stacey's rancid behavior does not really have anything to do with his acting chops, which are amazing, either. I don't have to like his behavior to like his acting. Continuing House of Cards without him is akin to serving veal Parmesan without the veal.

In our reactionary snowflakey society today we've forgotten how to deal with the fact that creative people have opinions and foibles and often behave badly. So Shannon said something you disagree with. So what? It has no bearing on the artistic qualities of his acting or this movie, both of which, by the way, are excellent.

Amen! He's a real douche-bag!
