Why is the rating so low?

Cause we didn’t do the theme song yet

I rated it a 7/10. It is a little predictable and silly at times, but I enjoyed it.

Probably because it was a bad interpretation of the book it was based on; "Five Children and It," by E. Nesbit. It would have been better if they had attempted to stay closer to the book instead of modernizing it. I have a feeling this was a cheaply made production with token diversity thrown in where none was needed, and they made It look ugly. He at least looked interesting in the book's description of him, compared to the ugly pseudo-monkey they have here.

I'm not so sure. My kids liked it and I thought it was alright (the parents were a bit annoying), but the people rating it are probably a bit older than the kids the movie was intended for. The IMDB ratings usually give around 7 to 8 for the best films ever made, so I don't think a 6 would be achievable.

Why is it called it? It's a human with a pronoun is all.
