Was there 2 calvins?

Yeah, having Calvin suddenly appear on Hugh's leg is yet another major flaw (of several) in this film.

At first, I wondered if there were 2, but when it came clear that it was the same Calvin, my expectations for how this film would end up went down, again.

Hugh purposefully put him on his leg due to his weird obsession.

Were there two of them? Why didnt he say anything about it being on his leg? I guess he can't feel with his legs but im sure he would notice it moving around. Why did he choose not to tell anyone?
