Brian O'Conner is said to be coming back for this film, but a body double will be used. In my opinion, I find this insensitive and I'd rather wish that they wouldn't thread on Paul Walker's death, they should just let him rest in peace
shareI agree...but if they INSIST on doing it, at least use his brothers as the double. Brian was always my favorite character, but I was satisfied with the send off they gave him in 7.

shareYou know, i'd be fine with casting someone else as Brian as long as he was only in the movie for so long as to tell Mia, "Hey baby, go do what you gotta do, i'll take care of the kids" or whatever. It'd be weirder to avoid the character completely. If they shot it right, you wouldn't even have to show his face, or if you did, just have it be in the reflection of a mirror CGI style.

They did it with Leia - kept her alive for Episode 8 when carrie had just died in real life (like happened with PW in F7)..but then killed her in Ep9
It's all about family. Dom has (for the most part) been in 6 films. Brian has been in 6 films.
If Brian appears in whatever small way both him and Dom would retain being in the same number of F&F movies. And I for one would be cool with that.
