I think season 3 was mediocre. How many times is she going to have a mental breakdown in each episode. You have to suspend huge disbelief that she would be so seamlessly able to blend into the crime family. That has no goons following her around for protection. And she could drive the mob mama around with no protection. I would like to know who was asking for Marcella at the airport. Or was that another figment of her imagination. No word if a season 4 will happen. But it takes about 2 years to get another 8 episodes. Hope they come up with a better plot and would like to see where they take Marcella next.

Season 3 was ridiculous and the ending most of all.

So now she has the life of a billionaire, traveling with a private jet, because she made a single transaction with a computer at a crime scene? Like, really? Plus people that rich have most of their wealth tied to something rather than as a balance in the bank that can simply be transferred just like that.

Overall it felt like they wanted to make a different show with the same actress, but kept the name to get views more easily.

Agree, it felt more like a british soap opera than a real Marcella season compared to the last two.

Frankly what police department in the world would keep a cop on active duty once they had a mental breakdown, not to mention if they are going undercover they do psych testing on them prior to their assignment and she would have been found out well before the start of the second season.

I have to be honest, after Season 2 I was surprised there was a 3. To me, this is one of those shows that one watches just to find out how it ends.

And it's surprising which shows get additional seasons and which ones don't. And what is it that writers of shows like this fail to realize a character such as the lead character has to exude charisma and likability for viewers to give a crap about.

Oh, and I liked how they dropped the body over the balcony/mayor plot point. I get why they did it, but why just drop it.

Just finished the season..It was MEH. She comes and goes from the crime families house with no problem, never found out what the ceiling hole above her bed was ( which would have let the viewer see the stuff she was hiding on the canopy of her bed)... Then they kill the daughter Stacey to leave the baby for Marcella? Oh come on now.
I feel like they rushed the last 2 episodes to get a neat conclusion. Meanwhile everyone is dead with basically no justice.
What about her kids? Just went off to live her life with the baby?
I think they wanted to show that someone was still tracking her at the end, in the scene at the airport,,,but it could just be her imagination like the last 2 episodes were.
I heard its the end of the show, no season 4.. Thats ok, we will all survive.

The hole above the bed was in Finn's room so Rory could watch him have sex. She didn't have a peep hole in her room. But knowing Rory I am surprised they didn't put a hidden camera in her room. But the writers really just wrote things to make it easier for the plot not common sense.

I recall the hole in the ceiling in her room with the main guy (forgot his name)..There was one scene where she was having sex and spotted the hole above.

Yeah, I just finished watching Season 3 yesterday and I'm done with the series. There wasn't anything revealing and Frank being killed off before learning more about his character was rather disappointing. It's like they "phoned in" a plot to fill a script timetable. They could have done so much more.

Yes that bothered me so much, they went through this whole big charade. Of putting Marcella in undercover. Since Frank wanted them all arrested. Then in one minute. He decided to go on a suicide mission and kills one person and dying in the process. He didn't need Marcella for all of that in the first place.

Where did you watch it DarthRoger as it has finished only yesterday here in the UK. I agree it was a ridiculous series

Series 3 was the best so far. Unfortunately it seems as if there won't be any more.
