Will critics get fired if they give this a negative review?

Its deemed by many as the best film to come out in years. It ( the film) tackles issues never before discussed like the extreme hate forwards blacks by white men.

Why do you do you assume it's bad?

This is definitely one of those films that is critic bait.

Bet the lead actress will get an academy award nomination. I can say that without having even seen the film.

People want black movies! Movies about negros. Im sure its good.

If a critic says bad things about the direction, acting, script etc, that would be entirely safe to do unless those things were actually obviously well down.

If a critic says that Hollywood has no business, for example, of depicting a black person as the victim of a lynching by white people who later on bragged about killing the boy, then there will be some push-back as a result of their comments.
