Maybe 3rd times the charm

So far Universals attempts at starting a Dark Universe have failed. Cruises Mummy was a generic forgettable comedic actioner and 2020's Invisible man was a boring Lifetime stalker movie of the week with an invisible bad guy. The Wolf man is my favorite of the old Universal films.

The synopsis alone is already most remarkable:

"A man must protect himself and his family when they are being stalked, terrorized, and haunted by a deadly werewolf at night during a full moon"

Apparently, some werewolves are quite benign, rather than deadly

Given the last 2 dismal attempts at kickstarting the Dark universe i have really low expectations for this but maybe they've learned from their mistakes.

Let me guess.

The werewolf will take out some red shirts with no hesitation so we can be terrified and see that he means business.
Then with this family, even though he could take them out instead he takes his time with them giving them the chance to get away so that one, two, a few or all family members get the upper hand and kill him with no hesitation.

My favorite is Draculas Daughter

I enjoyed the Del Toro version. Shame we never got the teased sequel.

I didn’t mind it either.
