Yees I think so, it’s the first time we saw a superheroes universe being created and the Avengers films with all our heroes United is like a huge event.

So yes I feel like in ten years people will say wooow we watched this on the big screen

10 Years from now this will be viewed with even more reverence because of what Marvel/Disney has achieved, that will not be duplicated by any other studio. Two distinctly separate generations have been affected by this ComicBooktoMovie phenomenon. Those comic book readers from the 60's (Silver Age) and the current generation who only know the MCU as the largest or biggest part of their comic book hero entertainment.

I think it's safe to say that four generations have been wowed by the films-- the Boomers grew up reading Marvel comics in the '60s, Gen-X grew up in what was probably the most dominant era for comics, Millennials seem to know the characters more from TV cartoons than comics, while Gen-Z doesn't really know a world without Iron Man movies. All four generations seem to enjoy and appreciate the MCU, and it's probably the case that in 10, 20, 30 years, people will look back to the past decade with the same awe and reverence Gen-X'ers give to the original Star Wars trilogy.

The idea that a bankrupt company could rise from the ashes and produce 23 films, nearly all of which were based on C- and D-list comic book characters that most of the general public didn't know, and go 23/23 in terms of critical response and audience response, while making $20+ billion... unthinkable prior to Iron Man, and likely never to be duplicated.

it's already been ten years since the first mcu film. so we're already looking back ten years and saying 'we watched that.'

& most people seem to think that iron man film has held up quite nicely.

time will tell, & i'll let the smart people be the final authorities on such matters, but i have the feeling the mcu films are actually going to hold up quite well.

maybe as time passes the style of effects may look a little quaint - but maybe not! the cgi in general is pretty solid in creating the belief that you're watching a guy swing on a web or fly with a hammer.

but as a series of films that built a universe with multiple interconnected characters, it's very much possible what the mcu did in these first 23 films may never be matched.

just look at other series. the dceu is a bit of a shambles. the star wars films are certainly a mixed bag. i like most of them well enough, but they have certainly split the fan-boys. godzilla/king kong? universal monsters? pretty much fair to call them failures at this point.

it is not a minor thing to make 23 films, have most of them meet a pretty reasonable standard, & keep fans engaged and excited. it's fair to say there's an mcu formula, but it's a very, very successful formula, one that i've quite enjoyed myself.

might not be to your taste, but that is really quite an accomplishment, one that i don't think should be dismissed lightly.
