Always been more of a DC guy but 2b on top of JL is frickin insane

A bit premature but it will happen pretty soon. One would think that the domestic amount would have been substantially larger for JL but A:E made more domestically than JL made world wide. To me that is just stunning.

At one time one would have thought that DC had more fans than Marvel because of the popularity and higher public awareness of DC characters.

This. I have always preferred Marvel (grew up with the X-Men) but I really thought DC would be far more popular due to Batman and Superman who are part of American Folklore. But The MCU has been beyond Amazing in the last 11 years.

Ice Cream comes in lots of different flavors. It's not about Teams.

JL? Justice League? How should I care how a BIG FAT PILE OF SHIT called Justice League did, compared to the MASTERPIECE that is Avengers: Endgame? Huh? Huh??

Oh yes, I remember the good old days. Rabid DC fans guaranteeing that Justice League would beat Infinity War. And now Endgame has made 4 times as much as Justice League. Hell even Captain Marvel made almost twice as much. Come to think of it the last ant-man movie almost beat it.

Where have all the DC fanatics gone?
