chances The big 3 all die?

with 3 trailers now giving away almost nothing of the story....and in all articles The Russo's are saying They want audiences to know almost nothing of the story or Spoilers going in...

I'm starting to think Its possible Maybe Cap,Thor and Tony all die...

Its clear, Marvel Studios do not have plans for these characters Post Endgame....Endgame in going to culminate The MCU to this point...

With New Characters Films reaching Heights even greater than The Cap,Thor and IM movies...Marvel Studios probably has no intentions of making more...

Theres also simply not enough room to make more Cap,Thor or IM movies going forward...

Marvel Studios hasnt announced a slate post Endgame but Its clear Black Widow,Shang-Chi and Internals movies are coming Plus Black Panther 2 and 3, Doctor Strange 2 and 3, GOTG 3, Spider-Man 3, Ant-Man 3 and Then Reboots of X-Men,Fantastic Four,Wolverine and Reynolds Deadpool...

Its actually kind of a catch 22....simply put...The New Characters films have been so successful....Theres just no need for Cap,IM and Thor films anymore...

all the actors contracts are up, why would Marvel Studios resign them to Mega 20 Million dollar + contracts to come...When They got Cumberbatch,Holland,Pratt,Boseman,Larson and Others Locked up on Minimum 6 picture contracts ....

I think its entirely possible all 3 could die and truly bring This Phase of The MCU to a conclusion...

Letting them live almost doesnt make since...The MCU is clearly going on after Endgame focusing on The New characters...but if they let them live, The question will always be where are they when Major events happen in MCU films...

I think Endgame is going to have a devastating ending...where all 3 die or sacrifice themselves to bring back the heroes that were turned to ash...

thoughts?

Since most people are expecting them to die, I'm banking on a curveball from Marvel. I think they will all be removed from action somehow (retirement, going to a different timeline, etc.) but won't die. My pet theory is that the three of them gather the Infinity Stones and fly off to the edge of the universe to ensure no one else will take them and abuse their power. Essentially they spend the rest of their days guarding the Infinity Stones while leaving Earth in the hands of new heroes. That way, they no longer appear in the movies but we get a nice little surprise.

It depends what on contracts.

my guess is:

tony sacrifices himself.
cap is allowed a happy ending - perhaps he's returned to the past to let him have the life that was taken away from him.
& thor lives & remains in the mcu.

my belief that thor will stay is simply based on the fact that i think they just got that character right in ragnarok & infinity war, and they'll pay salary to keep hemsworth around, whereas they may feel there's no stories left in cap & iron man.

all based on nothing but my unsupported beliefs & preferences.

^^

its quite stunning really that in all 3 franchises..The films had their greatest success with their last entries...

In any other franchise or any other studio...that would guarantee more films and sequels from those franchises

But with Marvel Studios...its a catch 22....Because The New Debuting characters Films have been So Successful....There just isnt a need to bleed The Thor,Cap and IM franchises for more films...

Had Black Panther, Captain Marvel and GOTG all made between 600 and 700 M....

I bet Disney and Marvel Studios would be going forward with Cap 4,Thor 4 and IM4 films...

but why go forward with old franchises where you got to sign the actors to new contracts(all 20 M+) to come back....When You got new Franchise making near 1 B or 1 B+ and the actors locked up on Minimum 6 pictures contracts.

I completely agree with you about Thor...although, I actually Liked Thor's characters in All The Thor Movies...I instead think they NAILED the tone of The MOVIE itself in Thor Ragnarok

I'm not sure that tone would have worked In Thor 1...Thor 1 was a coming of age story, A story about a father and son...IMO Its had the perfect tone and is 1 of the most underrated comic book movies of all time

as for Thor 2...It was just a cash grab...IMO Its the only MCU film, where to me its clear Marvel Studios didnt have a good story to tell or Kevin Feige Specifically didnt have a clear purpose for the film....I also think They made a Terrible choice in a director in Alan Taylor...This man is not a good director, and I dont think Thor 2 was ever destined to be Great...But It could have been better with a better director.

for me Personally, Captain America or specifically Chris Evans Playing Steve/Cap

is The thing I'm going to remember most and MISS most after Endgame....

I'll never forget when he was cast...

at that time, I was looking so forward to The Avengers(It was a dream to see an Avengers movie on screen)...I was reading for months about casting news, I just couldnt picture who they would cast as Cap, at the Time, I remember thinking Ryan Reynold was perfect, but he was just cast in Green Lantern...

then news hit that Evans was cast...My heart Sunk....I walked into my dads room and word for word said..."They just ruined The Avengers"

I could not imagine Evans in The role...

I knew how important Cap was, I knew what Kind of Man he was...and I just could not see Evans even remotely embodying that...

Luckily, I could not have been more wrong...

I like Evans in BOTH Cap 1 and The Avengers...But I simply became Blown Away by Him In The Winter Soldier and all movies after...

for me, He literally became Steve Rodgers in Cap 2...

I'm completely split on what happens to him in Endgame....I feel like its almost the perfect ending for him to Sacrifice Himself and Die if Marvel Studios does it correctly...In a way Its the send off he deserves....but I would also LOVE for him to get a happy ending...

for me, thats what I'm MOST invested in going to to Endgame....Seeing How Chris Evan's Cap/Steve's character culminates...

The MCU for me will not be the same without Chris Evan's Cap/Steve...

because of just how much I hated the casting at first, Chris Evan's as Cap/Steve is the BEST/Greatest CBM casting Of all time...

I just want him to Have The send off he deserves in Endgame rather that be the perfect death or The perfect happy ending

"Its possible Maybe Cap,Thor and Tony all die..."

Yeah, well, Evans, Downey, and Hemsworth's contracts all expire after this, and seeing how much they're paid, it's unlikely that any of them will sign a new one.

So Downey is being paid so much that he's pretty much guaranteed a heroic death, there's a chance that they'll let Evans and/or Hemsworth live but leave the Avengers, so that their agents can negotiate away. My money would be on Hemsworth living, he's said he wants to keep playing "Thor", he isn't as expensive as some of the cast, and the writers can have him say he's leaving to be King of Asgard, which leaves the possibility of a return open. I hope his agent and Marvel Films can come to terms, he's just so much FUN as Thor!

Maybe they’ll all go and eat a pizza somewhere ;-)
