So... Is Loki dead?

You’ll get different reponses from fans when it comes to this issue. Some are 100% convinced that he is dead and gone, while others have a bunch of theories that prove he actually survived. It won’t be made clear until Avengers 4 comes out.

Having said that, he is reportedly getting his own solo series for Disney’s steaming channel along with Scarlet Witch. And yes, Tom Hiddleston is set to star in it. So providing the show isn’t a prequel, then in all likelihood Loki is alive — or should be saved in the next Avengers.

Yes, but we all know there's another avengers movie and that it involves time travel, so many of them will be coming back. We all knew going into the movie that the deaths were not permanent.

In the comics, the Asgardians were re-incarnated on Earth (Loki became a woman), which potentially means The Warriors Three, Heimdall, etc can come back.

Loki was also transformed into a child, Kid Loki, in the comics recently.

Basically, Marvel now uses the comics to play around with its characters in such a way that it gives the films a lot of options.

No doubts that Thanos killed him during Infinity War, however since they've talked about time travel as a mechanism to reverse the gauntlet "snap", who knows. They could very well bring Loki back if they can change history.
