Gamora (Spoiler)

The scene where Thanos has to sacrifice the one thing he loves was very sad.

I really hope they bring her Back because Guardians won't be the same without her.

Me too. But I am sure they will find a way to bring them all back. I will say I was surprised to see Red Skull in that scene. He really got a grim pennance for messing with an Infinity Gem and for his many crimes.

Guardians won't be the same without her ... but I still hope they won't bring her back. It'd cheapen her death.

Also, there's the old "two weeks from retirement" trope - Gamora was finally happy, singing (like Andy Garcia in "Black Rain") and confessed her love. Loki finally did an unselfish act. They'd completed their character arcs, so permanent death makes sense, dramatically.

My hope is they only reverse the "SNAP" deaths. Loki, Gamora and Spirit should stay gone. Rogers, Stark and Banner are also likely toast in Avengers 4.

Guardians 3 could easily be about Adam Warlock helping them bring Gamora back by returning the Soul Stone to Vormir.

that would be great.

It was so unexpected and heart-rendering. After it happened though, all I could think about was her eventual return. Either way, this powerful scene with Gamora and Thanos was sad. I would even say that for a small moment I felt bad for Thanos himself... just for a moment though.

Frankly, Loki’s unsurprising death did affect me a bit more than Gamora’s. For all his mischievous ways, in a strange way the guy became one of the most lovable and fun characters in the MCU, especially after Thor: Ragnarok. His death was quite painful to watch and it’s really hard to see HIM return. Still, although his chances aren’t good, along with Gamora he could be brought back.

However, if bringing their characters back means their deaths will be cheapened, well it depends on how they do it imo. But for now, the fact that they were killed remains a sad thing. I mean everyone who disappeared at the end will indubitably be seen again, yet that didn’t make their demise any less shocking. It may be “meaningless” by next year, albeit at this point in time it was effective. In Peter Parker’s case it was especially heavy, he knew exactly was happening thanks to his Spidey-sense.
