shareI watch films at the theater all the time and any debate I engage in about box office does not reflect my personal preference for a film.
When it comes to DC or Marvel Studios I much prefer Marvel.
I expected to like it but did not. It actually makes me less excited about Endgame. It started off OK but kept getting worse and worse as it went. Once Brie was starting to "realize her full potential" I realized that she was a terrible choice for the role. I liked her stoic military confidence at first and enjoyed the action sequences early on (even when they made little sense) but things got worse and the movie seemed to unravel. Larson was, as it turns out, not a good choice for the role.
I was reminded a little of how utterly silly Fifth Element got near the end but that was a case of a great movie turning into an OK movie while this is a case of an OK movie turning into a bad movie.
