I felt the same. Isn't Keegan Michael Key a comedian? We're supposed to take him seriously as a hard core military guy? The same with Boyd Holbrook...needs to hit the gym.
They replaced Schwarzenegger, Jesse Ventura, Sonny Landham, Bill Duke and Carl Weathers with these wimps? The photo makes it look like they're making a sit com...

shareYeah but this isn't Punisher Thomas Jane, this is post-Punisher Thomas Jane. I doubt he's been hitting the gym for this flick. Still, Jane is the only real man that's part of the cast. Everybody else looks like crap.
shareI agree. I also cringed when I saw the cast. I think this is gonna suck miserably. No chance in hell they can hold a candle to the classic, but of course I still wanna see how disastrous it can be.
share Yea I'm not seeing this as a hard R either. The trailer even felt like it was a little comedy. "Were assassins which is kind of the point in being threatning". "Did you see anything unusual". "What like an alien or something". "Oh yea he definitly saw something".
It just takes away from the horror of the film.
The shite is the result of Shane Black's trying to fix something that isn't broken.
