I don't like how it is going

Multiple delays... yet they keep overhyping it like there is no tomorrow. Seems weird.

Makes me think that they are so afraid that gamers would not like it. As if they have lost their faith in their product and now just turning the marketing to 11.

Watching the developers constantly, like CONSTANTLY, patting themselves on the back and ENSURING us that the game will be the best thing ever was jarring. They keep talking how beautiful, immersive, deep, etc. Just why talk like that? It's almost cringey to be honest. Made them looks like Uwe Boll describing his latest "masterpiece."

Death Stranding was overhyped too and look how it turned out. I can't believe CD ProjektRED couldn't see this.

They are giving the game to Youtubers to play early so what makes them can't release it? It must have been ready, if not those Youtubers would play a broken ass buggy mess. Which would ruin their impressions.

That's totally illogical. So it must have been finished. The game was worked on for more than 7 years! There is no chance that they coulnd't finished it in almost a decade. They are a talented veteran game company, not a random no name start-up.

But then why delay the release? It does not make any sense. I don't like this. The Witcher 3 is the best game ever made. I'm so worried right now. I don't want this to fail. Please don't.

its gonna be fine quality over quantity besides id wait for a great game than a rushed game

reply

I was right. It's not quantity nor quality.

It has both quality and quantity. And yes, it's buggy, but unlike lack of quality, bugs are a temporary problem that can be fixed with patches.

This is an honest review:

Ok, that was a better review. Good to hear. In fact, the guy's got an awesome channel. I just subscribed. Thanks to you.

I was just heard from LinusTechTips that Cyberpunk 2077 has lots of bugs and glitches. I immidiately searched Youtube for "Cyberpunk 2077 glitches" and that above was the first video to come up. Made me really worried for a second.

Basically it's a good game, just wasn't ready. They run out of time. Let's just hope they can redeem themselves like Hello Games with their No Man's Sky.

When it comes to videogames, I think he's the most professional journalist you're gonna find. No matter you do it in a magazine or in a youtube channel, what he does is journalism, or at least what used to be journalism.

The game itself seems as it still needed a bit more of a polishing before release. I'll give it a try this xmas, since this one and the VtMB sequel are the two ones I've been waiting for. It's gonna be buggy, damn, but whatever, I wanna try it 😄

CDPR apologizes for Cyberpunk 2077 buggy mess.

I'm about 50 hours in and "buggy mess" is far from what I've experienced, I've seen a few wacky bugs, but mostly minor and nothing game breaking. Absolutely loving this game.

And if when I do encounter a bug or graphical glitch, I've found that saving and reloading resolves the issue.
Been doing as many side quests, gigs, and other things as much as possible, main story is a treat which I have taken my time in.

Which platform?

reply

Ah sorry, I am playing on PC. No doubt the console versions, which took longer to work on, are facing more trouble here.

reply

PC version is fine. A bit unoptimised, but fine. See Digital Foundry's asessments. Series X or PS5 are acceptable too. But Xbox One and PS4 versions should't be released, yet.

It's an irresponsible move and the fact that CDPR CEO said clearly that Cyberpunk 2077 runs susprisingly well on base PS4 and XBox One is just a blatant lie.

That said, Hello Games of No Man's Sky totally redeemed their mistake. So I don't see why CDPR can't pull it off too. Fix the bugs and stop lying. Apologising is a good start. I believe in CDPR. I don't think they're greedy bastards, they're just inexperienced.

Apologizing and fixing it is the way to go. At least they didn't start to insult their clients, which seems to be the usual behavior in US videogame companies.😂

It's normal that people are pissed off, particularly those with a PS4. But if they know how to play their cards, they can win them back. They've made quite a fair amount of money, so they can afford to spend some months fixing the game and then sugarcoat it adding some nice free DLC.

Oh wow. Sony feels ashamed selling a broken product. A Japanese sepukku.
