Box Office Disaster! $2.8 Million opening day. $95 Million budget.

I like car movies and loved Ford v Ferrari, but nothing about this film draws me in at all

I'm seeing it later this week, but when I saw that this had a budget of almost $100 million I knew it would bomb at the box office.

Along with the high budget, I think reviews and too much competition really killed any chances of this being successful. There was talks this would be a big awards contender, but reviews have been very mixed and it's getting no awards attention at all. It's also competing with Boys in the Boy and The Iron Claw which are also adult dramas and audiences seem to be picking those over this. Also, there was been almost no marketing for this.

I thought it was going to be a bigger film.
