Kevin Smith is a philistine

This is a horrible film… Not in a good way… not in a redeeming, it’s so bad it’s good way… No, it’s just awful…

Everything is bad, the acting, directing, writing, photography, the lot of it is bad… even the body-horror doesn't work because it's done so poorly...

But that’s not the worst part… the worst part is finding out that the director had no intention of making a good movie… the whole thing is just some podcast idea, that the director decided to inflict on the public. The epitome of echo chamber moron culture... the whole movie is a joke at the expense of the audience...

There is no pretending or excusing anymore... Kevin Smith is a philistine and hates cinema

Show us on the doll where he touched you. I don't deny the film's flaws, but SHEESH.

I feel that, brudda. I remember ranting for hours after the movie ended. Thankfully I encountered a super effective memory wiping tool called alcohol, which I still use to this present day.

it was redeeming. wallace the wallrus got redeemed into a nice pen in the exotic animal zoo, w/ plenty o' tasty fishes.

what did you want - the poor fellow to get his legs and sanity back? to be honest, he was a total tool to begin with.

maybe the redeeming aspect of the film is the insight that abuse has a ripple effect. which is absolutely the truth.

anyway, its just a funny horror film. they dont do redeeming.

Take it in the spirit it was intended. Weird, quirky, Kevin Smith stuff. He's a demented genius!

You sound like someone who just heard the word philistine and want to add it to your repertoire, but haven't quite worked out it's proper usage yet.

sounds like an accurate description of the situation
