The setup is great, but if we follow the rules of Woke then the straight white male must be evil - which means Hartnett’s character will turn out to be the serial killer.

This is supported by how the trailer presents him later on, and the fact we see an Asian guy bound and gagged on his phone.

I really hope I’m wrong but Shamalamadingdong’s last trailer centered around a sympathetic gay couple with a kid - dude’s gone woke just when his career needed a revival 🤦🏻‍♂️

You can't be that obtuse! The standard profile for a serial killer is a white male between the ages of 30-50. That is backed up by overwhelming statistics.

And those are just the known ones. Guaranteed there were a ton more who ran into cops, but repeatedly got the Dahmer treatment and sent on their way without a second look.

Obviously the dominant race of any nation will likely account for most of its serial killers, but given that the data does not paint the picture you’re trying to portray.

Whites account for only 56% of serial killers in the USA, a 76% white nation. 29% of American serial killers are black despite the USA being only 14% black. So there is a greater chance of a black person being a serial killer than a whitey.

Broadly true although in the USA the proportion of blacks who are serial killers is greater than the proportion of whites, which further nukes the ‘all serial killers are white males’ myth.
