It's a good review.
The one they did about 'The Force Awakens' was hilarious. :)
Loved RedLetter's TFA breakdown!
Mauler just did an RoS EFAP on his Mooler channel with a group of 5 guests, 12 frickin' hours long (w/ Critical Drinker for ~6 of those hours), and super funny for at least the first 10 hours. The last 2 hours were still good, mainly reading super chats.
I just load the stuff in my MP3 player and listen while I work.
12 hours these ppl are crazy. I will listen to it
shareIt's really good. I find Mauler's group podcasts on the Mooler channel are best listened-to with earbuds, the audio levels for each guest can vary a bit with 5 people on the call. It's not bad enough to ruin it, but earbuds make it easier to follow everybody.
Here's the link to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHH-ybUwH1CfJrXxnqw6Ljw/videos
Yes i havr listened before but you are 100% correct, i find sometimes drifting away as ppls audio is of varied levels. I will try with headphones it is a great idea
shareSounds like a major marathon and achievement. Will have to check it out.
shareIt's a lot of fun for the podcasts - but use headphones/earbuds to help with discerning 4+ people talking.
Mauler has his other channel for solo reviews with professional quality sound that are also excellent: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheMauLerYT/videos
I love Plinkett's remarks about Abrams not understanding space at all - brilliant.
What you mean? This is not plinkett
shareThe fat guy in the middle who plays Plinkett, I don't know what his name is.
Doesn't Mike actually do the Plinkett voice for the full solo reviews? I know Rich plays Plinkett for the skits.
shareAs far as I know, it's Mike Stoklasa the one that voices Plinkett.
shareThanks!
What an age we live in, where 3 beer swilling CheeseHead Pollacks from Milwaukee can have 1+ million devoted followers looking forward to most any vid they produce.
Especially that short dude on the right with the infectious cackling laugh.
I have to avoid anything with Rich before going to bed!
I used to try and drift off to sleep listening to their reviews, and then Rich would LAUGH! and wake me up.
You mean Rich Evans, world-famous star of the Ellen show?
shareThat is mike, so this is not plinkett review is what i mean
shareMike Stoklasa, does the voice, he's the orginal Plinkett on the famed prequel reviews, Rich Evans plays Harry S. Plinkett in the Half in the Bag show, whilst Stoklasa plays a VCR repairman.
Look! He's even got his own movie chat page with great vistas!

This not plinkett, this is red letter media review
shareAfter their amazing TLJ and Solo reviews, this one was a bit disappointing. Their best review is still their Ghostbusters one though, highly recommend: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUEKreyTkvA
shareI think there was not really much else they could do. Abrams doesn't know how to develop stories, he just throws mystery boxes and action scenes in a fast pace. Since he was supposed to close the whole 9-movies arc here, he was lost (pun intended).
What he does is to pile up brainstorming ideas, without a proper structure. TLJ at least tried to make some proper narrative. It failed, but it tried. Same thing with the prequels. That gives room to some analysis. But what analysis could you do when the movie is just a pile of unconnected plot ideas?
This was definitely the weakest of the three new movie reviews for these guys. I ended up watching them all back to back. Honestly, they just seem legit burned out and over it and I don't there was actually much to sink your teeth into with this movie. Aside from a few crazy reveals, this movie was much less risk taking than TLJ. But I loved how that one guy kind of took responsibility for destroying the fandom. I think he definitely sparked that revolution.
shareI just don't have the patience to watch somebody's Youtube review that is itself as long as a feature film.
