The writer’s board also has no mention of aliens, Star Wars is so badly written, and having human diversity quotas in a space fantasy world with aliens and robots makes little sense.

Bob Iger is out as Disney CEO, and maybe his replacement will put a stop to this by firing Kathleen Kennedy and cleaning house at Lucasfilm.
shareIger still on the board till next year (summer i think), but i doubt the new CEO will get rid of Kennedy. She seems to have some dirt on disney and sucesfully blackmailed them into free reign.
shareIt's likely that 'the high republic' will be an era where the SWU is super progressive and it was the conservative Jedi men that ruined the entire universe - with only a handful of awesome women around to try and save the day.
