I thought there would have been one released by now. Usually disney are trying to get the hype machine rolling well in advance.
Maybe they are waiting for End Game to land first?

No I actually watch it to give it a chance. Thing is i don't moan and groan about how awful the Disney Star wars films are while continually supporting them by buying a ticket. I hated Batman v superman therefore I made a stand. I did not buy a movie ticket for Justice League and waited for it to get released on dvd/blu ray. My friend redboxed it for a dollar. We watched it giving it a shot but it was awful.
People like you won't make that stand. You will support it in theaters and then complain online for an eternity. I find it funny you fans act as if star wars is some prestigious work of art. Even the original trilogy was vastly overrated.

Never said there was anything wrong with criticism. Thing is jokes on you if you keep buying a ticket to see these films. I criticised justice league endlessly. Thing is I didn't support it though. Are you not patient enough to wait?
I don't care what people say about it. It's the entitled drama queens that drive me nuts. Star wars was impactful yes but it's not the holy trail of cinema like fans want to think. Some of the things people complained about in the Disney Star Wars existed in the old ones. Is there new stuff that didn't exist sure. Thing is Star wars has never been high octane art.
Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 destroy any Stars film. Look though no one supports them. Yet Star wars can be awful and people will line up in droves. Then proceed to complain. Sigh.

Disagreeing and thinking someone is wrong are two different things. I don't agree that it is the holy grail of cinema. I did not say they were wrong for thinking it is. Nice attempt at projecting though. I simply find it hypocritical to let the old films slide on flaws that they won't let the Disney films slide on.

I don't like the double standard. Now you have people claiming the prequels were better when these toxic fans bashed them for years and years. Seriously nothing will satisfy Star wars fans because they elevated the original trilogy up to an insurmountable pedestal.
I myself am not big on the Disney films or the original trilogy. I enjoy the Disney films more than the prequels though. Just my opinion.

Solo flopped and they’ve been keeping quiet about IX hoping to distance themselves from The Last Jedi as much as possible and the damage that movie has done. Rian Johnson messed up Luke and a lot of other things and Kathleen Kennedy approved of it all. They shouldn’t be working on Star Wars movies anymore.

Having just seen the trailer for IX and that they seem to be retconning a lot of Rian’s rubbish I’m actually quite excited about this now.
J.J should have done the whole trilogy. He just knows what the fans want to see.
True, JJ should have. I dont think he did anything in between TFA and ROS (Rise of Skywalker of course).
Whats worse is that JJ wrote script treatments for all three! I assume ROS will encompass his second AND third scripts, I doubt he ditched his plans for VIII.

Yeah, they were never going to release it until Celebration. Simple as that. Why have a massive "Star Wars" convention without using that platform as a launching pad for the movie?
I don't care much about "Episode IX" since "Force Awakens" and "Last Jedi" were as disappointing as they were. But, people think that they are waiting to release the teaser because they are "scared" of it or whatever don't understand movie marketing.
