shareGOT was only good when they were following the books. Once they had to start writing original material it got shit.
shareGOT wasn't particularly great even when following the books. Good scenes in the books were left out, and the scenes added by Benioff and Weiss were often awful in comparison.
This is the same situation as King Kong being hyped by the studio because it was made by Peter Jackson.
