Or was Shaw always bi at heart?

Shaw didn't seem like she could love anyone once she got into the spy business. She was really a little bad a**.

So, to answer your question, I don't know. I think Root brought out that side in her that was probably dormant for a long time.

Understood. Gays guy sex scenes repulse me. So does sex with ugly people in general in films/shows.
