Easier to follow than Dark. (Spoilers about the end)

I still have a few questions about this show, but that's typical of time loop/time-traveling show and movies for me. I liked the complexity of these types of shows. They make you think. Dark was so far out there that I had to watch a few U-Tube videos that explained some of it.

Regarding the ending: I assume no one would remember the events after they were changed? Hilinghead seemed to have familiarity towards Ashe, and the same regarding Whiteman towards Esther. Not sure what was up with that, tho.

Regarding the ending scene: Was Maplewood in the taxi because she still has access to The Throat in 2053 and still knows about something that is unresolved? I sure don't have a effing clue.

All-in-all it was a good show.

yes, most time travel shows/movies have moments that don't match up. Not sure how or why Maplewood was in the Taxi. I assume that she was still alive in the "new" future, but not sure how she would have knowledge of the "old" past. Nor do I know why she would go back to the "new" past unless there is something else that needed to be fixed.

I interpreted her being there (and the KYAL logo visible, already in 2023), that their efforts changed very little and that she had jumped to 2023 in a new mission to change things.
Of course, all this being an attempt at a cliff-hanger, potentially a tie-in to a second season. Thankfully, that doesn't seem to be happening (fingers crossed).

Maybe a gimmick to leave the door open to an additional season?

I don't think Hillinghead knew him. He just saw a good looking guy and was attracted.

Whiteman and the girl probably recognized one another as Jewish and so had some mutual empathy.

No, because the spyne doesn't transport through the time machine. Her cop job was because of Mannix. Now there's no Mannix so she couldn't or didn't get a cop job and became a cabbie instead.
